The Great Oldbury development, on Grove Lane, launched in 2018 and has built a thriving community over the last few years.
Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, just minutes from the M5, the final homes at Great Oldbury are now sold, with the last residents eager to start their new chapter in the attractive development.
During the development of Great Oldbury, we invested £7 million into the local community to further enhance the surrounding area, supporting improvements to transport, education and amenities to benefit the entire community.
As part of our commitment to creating thriving communities, a £6 million contribution towards the construction of Great Oldbury Primary School was made.
We also invested £264,000 to support local library services, £250,000 to improve transport links in the area, more than £62,00 towards maintaining the Stroudwater Canal, and £30,000 towards Stonehouse’s brand new Community Hall which opened at the end of 2024. Facilities there include a sports hall, meeting rooms, office storage rooms, kitchen and a fully equipped playground that is already being put to great use.
We are continuing to build 131 new homes at a nearby development The Alders at Great Oldbury, as part of the master scheme at Great Oldbury in Stonehouse. A range of three, four and five-bedroom homes are available from our award-winning Heritage Collection.
