Andrew and Sue Baker moved into their Redrow home in Woodborough Grange on 20th December. Having lived in their previous home for 38 years, constantly working on it to make it more comfortable and energy efficient, having a home that improved on their EPC C-rating was a priority. Had they stayed where they were, they would have had to dig up their concrete floors for extra insulation to improve the rating, a mammoth task that would be expensive, time-consuming, and altogether inconvenient. Luckily, a Redrow home was ready to save the day!
Rather than renovating their old home, they decided it was much easier to buy a new Redrow home. They were extremely impressed with the home’s solar panels, wall cavity insulation and SAP rating of 84 which sealed the deal for them.
“We’ve loved our home since we moved in. Our energy bills did not skyrocket over the winter, our home is well-built and we are extremely fortunate to live here. The Redrow team has helped us every step of the way. They are patient, understanding and always willing to go the extra mile”, says Andrew Baker.
“Redrow has looked after us and understood our need to live in an energy-efficient home, and we are so happy we moved”, says Sue Baker.
Charlotte Newnes, Area Sales Manager says, “We were so glad to have met Andrew and Sue’s needs for an energy-efficient home that saved them the trouble of renovating their old home. We want Redrow to go beyond expectations and provide all our homeowners with energy savings, convenience, and comfort”.
