The list, drawn up in association with Knight Frank, details the 300 best places to live in 2025.
Reasons why the scenic Yorkshire spa town features include its excellent schools, stylish shops and great rail links. Clitheroe’s location in an area of outstanding natural beauty and its history and independent shops and eateries were behind it’s inclusion on the list.
Steve Jackson, regional sales director at Redrow, said: “It’s no surprise Harrogate has been included as one of the best places to live. There’s a great shopping and dining scene, top schools and community is a huge part of the town with annual events such as the Christmas light switch on being popular with locals.
“Clitheroe is in the middle of the Ribble Valley, it’s surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so it’s easy to see why people want to live here. It is also home to numerous independent shops and restaurants providing locals with amenities aplenty.”
We are currently building homes at Kingsley Manor, close to Harrogate town centre. It will eventually feature 133 new homes as well as green space, play areas and cycle and footpaths linking to neighbouring developments, local facilities and into the town centre.
We are currently building homes at Calder Grange in Billington, which is one of the scenic villages surrounding Clitheroe and just a short drive from the town by car. The exclusive development will feature 26 homes from our Eco Electric range, which have air source heat pumps as standard to provide heating and hot water, as well as underfloor heating to the ground floor.
